What can L&D, HR and
Training do: When employee is showing high competence but low confidence?
Assesing confidence
level to determine competency should be part of the evaluation of an employee's
performance and development.
Here are 2 tips:
- Get
your employee(s) to join in blended experiences which has simulations that
make everyone to participate.
- Organise
Pre-Boarding miniature programmes for those competent and less confident
employees. Meaning this nugget programmes will get them out of their box
and create a habit in advance before real program starts.
