How do you create a Thinking Organisation

Dear HR, Training and L&D folks,
How do you create a Thinking Organisation
TLMM has met many HR, L&D and Training teams that have great potential to grow but the only missing link is the ability to THINK forward. Here is 1 example on how we must create a Thinking Organisation and not a Following Organisation.

Part 1: Market this initiative to everyone in your organisation for them to apply and volunteer to be part of the THINKING COMMITTEE of your organisation.
Part 2: Once the team is selected from the overall applicants, develop their HR appointment letter that mentions this additional project may/may not add to their wages. Build in a carrot/ or may not. This depends on your culture of rewards.
Part 3: Build a THINKING HUB room with all fancy thinking gadgets that can make the committee test and fail. 
  1. Project the need 30 years out and imagine what might be possible in the context of the exponential curves
  2. Create a 30-year vision
  3. Pull the 30-year vision back into a more concrete 10 to 15-year vision
  4. Compute in the future
  5. Crawl your way there
