3 Tips on How to design Action Learning Role Playing Situations

Ultimately, if you are in a department that need to lead PEOPLE (HR, TRAINING, L&D) , you need to think innovatively all the time (meaning thinking spontaneously and even impulsively. Put aside your documents and try thinking from the perspective of your learner). Here are 3 Tips, we wish to share with you that you can use to create Spontaneous Thinking Role Playing Exercises in your workshops:

Tip 1: Nurture your learners Spontaneous attitudes.
-          Discover what is keeping you (your learners) from doing things spontaneously; e.g. of Predictable Behaviours:
o   Doing things in the same manner
o   Talking to the same people each day
o   Reluctant on new challenges

Tip 2: Shake up your learners Routines: example,
-          Breaking down each Plan to a faster and leaner plan
-          Experimenting with new ways of speaking
-          Not getting hung up on small decisions

Tip 3: Be unpredictable and keep others guessing
-          Draw or colour to express feelings
-          Act immediately on your thoughts or ideas, instead of just thinking about them and improvising
-          Be expressive and add drama to it

The above Tips are ways on HOW TO DESIGN ACTION LEARNING ROLE PLAYING.  Do partner with your trainers, training providers and consultants to create best role playing situation activities that can bring how the best ‘SPONTENOUS THINKING’ to your learners mind.
