Dear
HR , Training and Learning & Development Heads,
Are your Learners in the Classroom the “Engaged
Workforce”? Or are they the “Disengaged Workforce”?
Have you come across evaluation forms Level 2 that talks
about the dissatisfaction of the program? Even though your trainer is
awesome! Your program is awesome! But your employees are still not
satisfied (you can use any word here…not happy, they think this program is not
what is needed etc etc)
Maybe it’s the Role of the Learner themselves that you need
to consider. Are your leaners in the classroom the engaged workforce? Or
are they the disengaged workforce?
Here are the important areas that we can share with you that
you can use to spot an Engaged and Disengaged workforce of people.
- Attitude – Attitude is really everything. A disengaged employee will be very resistant to any Role Play, Activity or even answer questions in the classroom.
- Taking Initiative – Initiative and motivation goes hand in hand. In the classroom, the learners that take a step forward to be the leader or partake heavily in being a good team sport, can be identified as an engaged employee
- Going above and Beyond – You can spot an engaged employee here through their willingness to partner with you to fill up your training effectiveness forms or relevant documents as he knows this are important for the
- Asking feedback – An engaged employee in a classroom is humble enough to tell his weaknesses and say how to improve better through a good private discussion with the trainer
So the question is how will you know WHO ARE THE RIGHT
ENGAGED LEARNERS AND DISENGAGED LEANERS?
My answer- give me call and we can chat. You see, TLMM
