3 Biggest mistakes companies makes in training

  1. Organizations don't take time to analyze training needs - even though you may have only public workshops planned, it's vital to do a training needs analysis to see who needs what type of training.
  2. Organizations don't evaluate how we'll employees have learned - even if you do you stop at the first level of evaluations. Companies usually think if there is a positive reaction to the training, then your employees have learned, but in fact the correlation is very weak between reaction to training and actual learning.
  3. Organizations think that using learning technologies will solve all training needs; eg computer games, training apps. Simulations aren't enough. Proper assessments, clear feedback forms and defined learning objectives are needed.
