- Organizations don't take time to analyze training needs - even though you may have only public workshops planned, it's vital to do a training needs analysis to see who needs what type of training.
- Organizations don't evaluate how we'll employees have learned - even if you do you stop at the first level of evaluations. Companies usually think if there is a positive reaction to the training, then your employees have learned, but in fact the correlation is very weak between reaction to training and actual learning.
- Organizations think that using learning technologies will solve all training needs; eg computer games, training apps. Simulations aren't enough. Proper assessments, clear feedback forms and defined learning objectives are needed.
