Dear HR, Training and
L&D folks,
When your HR Person is an
Introvert? Awareness
The big issue for an introverted HR person is having to constantly
engage with people day in, day out – which can be a major drain on
energy. Another big problem for introverts is in meetings. They’ll speak
and people will talk over them.
Solution: Just give them space to talk. Their confidence is so much
greater. The return in loyalty is huge.
Most introverts it’s critical to have focus
times to work through priorities. Introverts don’t enjoy unanticipated interruptions,
for example, to the same extent that extroverts do.
If you are an introvert, embrace it but be sure
to practice the necessary tools to make changes you require to be seen.
Until my next sharing,
