Why are our current new trainers selling their programs cheap?

If you are a new person in the training industry whether a customer or a trainer yourself, you would have experienced our current price war.  What I mean is you would not have any benchmark apart from our HRDF rates, to know how much can you offer your training program or purchase a training program.  But how long can we maintain this price war?

If you are a trainer, hence you would have to follow this rules:
1. Being a trainer these days is all about differentiation.
2. If your customer cannot differentiate between you and your competition, they will just buy cheap.
3. Customers will buy cheap because they have a large selection to choose from.

So how do you transform your training programs into a brand?
1. Get a strong certification from an international university
2. Offer licensed programs
3. Don't offer your programs beyond what you don't want.  (TLMM will only offer to you if you have extra days to offer and then you can do the training for the price the customer offers you)
4. The Power of Your Name or your Training Company name is important. (Design your website to get SEO hits)

If you are a customer, start believing that training can help your employees and start hiring high end trainers.  Below are the usual training market fees in Malaysia for ordinary trainings usually purchased.
  • Leadership and Change Programs - RM4500 to RM10000 per day
  • Microsoft Office - RM2500 to RM4000 per day
  • Communication Programs - RM4000 to RM8000 per day
  • Mindset and Motivation Programs - RM4000 to RM8000 per day
  • Technical Programs - RM4500 to RM6000 per day
  • Secretary/ Clerical Programs - RM3500 to RM5000 per day
  • Sales Programs - RM5000 to RM10000 per day
  • Support Programs (Admin/ Purchasing/HR) - RM4500 to RM6000 per day
  • Presentation Skills - RM5000 to RM8000 per day
