1. Shared team calendar
Using this calendar will allow any training exec or clerk to know what are your activities and meetings organised. Communication is transparent, and hence your team will feel happy to work
2. Follow up Regularly
Big programmes are often broken into smaller chinks and run with separate team leaders. As the person incharge overall, ensure that each project leader in your training department is executing as required.
3. Skip the Boasting on all your training plans
Boasting about the trainings that you need to run often raise expectations and damage trust in your team. Instead focus on actions and execution because results will always say more than any speech
4. Question Everything
Questions are a valuable way of sizing up a situation. Take note that questions are not enough, You must be willing to listen to the answers and be open to new changes.
5. Create New routines
You spend most of your time dealing with existing issues and folliwing the esiting way of doing things. However when you need to chart a new course of training, changing this routines will allow new things to happen.
6. Know your Options
A key member in your training department may leave and you must be prepared with a succession plan. How can your trainings move forward even without this person?
7. When in Doubt, Decide which trainer you need
